Jimmy Fallon is considered the “nice guy” of late night. He doesn’t get too mean or roast celebrities too much. But last night he let his anger fly in a “fight” with TV and Broadway star Nathan Lane.
See, both men were nominated this year for the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series; Lane for his recurring Modern Family role, Fallon for his guest appearance on SNL. Fallon won. And Lane was pissed.
Lane got really snarky with Fallon, and at one point shouted, “When do we play beer pong, bitch?!” Fallon snapped and lunged, and the two men started fighting until Matthew Broderick had to break them up. (And no, he didn’t scream “fat fat fatty!” at him.)
