Hillary Clinton will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the week after two of the GOP’s leading presidential candidates make their late night talk show debuts.
On Tuesday morning, NBC announced that Clinton would be Jimmy Fallon‘s big guest on The Tonight Show‘s Sept. 16 episode, marking the leading Democratic Party candidate’s first late night appearance since announcing her presidential bid back in April.
Clinton has already given several interviews to a few major news outlets, and will sit down with David Muir at ABC on Tuesday night. A more serious interview, Clinton’s ABC World News Tonight appearance will run ahead of Donald Trump and Jeb Bush‘s interviews on The Tonight Show and the new Late Show with Stephen Colbert, respectively.
Yet with her Sept. 10 appearance on Ellen DeGeneres‘ daytime talk show, it seems Clinton is finally ready to enter the more entertaining, less email scandal-y world of television talkers. That is, unless Fallon and his writers decide to play a round of “Password” with the former U.S. Secretary of State.
