Anthony Sadler, one of the three American passengers who stopped a gunman’s rampage on a French train last month, appeared on Tuesday night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Sadler recounted the story for host Jimmy Fallon and the audience, explaining how he and his friends Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone confronted and stopped the gunman. Much of the story is already well known at this point, but that didn’t stop Fallon from asking Sadler for details.
Considering the medium, the talk show host tried interjecting humor every now and then, especially when Sadler said that he and his friends “got to beat [the suspect] down a little bit” during the scuffle.
“Yeah!” exclaimed Fallon while the audience cheered. “‘We got to beat him down a little bit.'”
‘Mericuh.
